Job Vacancy: Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor within a thriving law firm

The Firm Leasehold Law LLP was established in 2015 and has already gained a reputation as a ‘disruptor’ in the Leasehold Enfranchisement sector. It provides advice on a wide range of landlord and tenant matters and works directly with two other well-known companies with complementary skills to offer a comprehensive ‘one stop shop’ service to clients. For further information, please visit browse our website.

Our office is only a short walk from East Croydon station, so we are ideally located for fast transport links across London and the south east. Croydon is an important area of regeneration, with the latest Westfield development going ahead soon.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive solicitor with relevant expertise to join a growing niche firm which specialises exclusively in Leasehold Enfranchisement and has a continuous pipeline of work. We offer a competitive salary, friendly work environment and career progression for the right applicant.

To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of five years’ PQE, ideally exclusively in Leasehold Enfranchisement and will have managed your own case load.  Your experience will cover all aspects of enfranchisement, including 1967 Act, 1987 Act and 1993 Act claims for lease extensions and freehold acquisition – and you will have a genuine interest in keeping up to date with the law, legislation and procedures governing leasehold work.  As an experienced solicitor you will be expected to provide training and share your knowledge with the team including our paralegals and trainee solicitors, and with key personnel in the complementary companies we work with.

You will possess excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. The ability to work within a team and manage deadlines are also both absolutely essential.

Salary is competitive and will depend on your level of experience.

If you would like to join our team, please send a CV with a covering message to our HR Director Sam Swinstead at

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: negotiable for the right applicant but in region of £40,000 to £70,000 per year
